What is Sunday School?

Classes for Youth

At UCC of Robesonia, Sunday School is more than just learning; it's a vibrant community where children and teenagers grow in faith and friendship. Every Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, we offer a dynamic program tailored to various age groups, from PreK through Grade 12. Our sessions are designed to be engaging and enlightening, featuring a mix of biblical teachings, music, crafts, and interactive activities.

Sunday School is a place of welcome for all children. Whether you are part of our church family or new to the community, we invite you to join us in a journey of faith and fun!

We also offer Classes for Adults

Sunday morning Bible study in person at 9:00am

Tuesday morning Bible study by Zoom at 9:00am

Wednesday evening Bible study (hybrid - in person and by Zoom) at 6:00pm

Sunday School Activities

Sunday School

On Sunday mornings at 9:00am, we offer classes for people of all ages to learn more about the Bible and our Christian faith.
Youth begin as one group in the downstairs Sunday school area for opening prayer and announcements, and then go to classrooms based on their age/school grade.
Adults meet in our upstairs conference room for their class. New Member adult classes meet in our downstairs Miller Felloship Hall. meet in our downstairs classrooms in school
Vacation Bible School

Each summer, Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an exciting week of Bible stories, crafts, game, food, friendship, and fun.
Our VBS program is in partnership with St. Daniel’s ELCA. They host on odd numbered years and we hos on even numbered years.

Christmas Play

Each December our youth present a Christmas play during a Sunday morning worship service to share the Christmas message.

Easter Egg Hunt

It is always an exciting and joy-filled time to experience our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday.

Sunday School Breakfast

As a special treat and great fellowship, our teachers will periodically organize a special breakfast during the Sunday School hour.
Confirmation

Confirmation is the rite in the church where a youth becomes a full member of the church. To prepare for that rite and membership, youth participate in the Confirmation Program, which involves practicing their faith and learning in greater detail what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

It is always a joy when our Youth Choir sings during the worship service.
