How to Join the United Church of Christ of Robesonia

Visitors Welcome

Visitors are welcome to share in worship, Bible studies, Sunday school, youth group, adult fellowship groups, choirs, and other activities and events without the need to join in membership. We are glad to share in the Good News of Jesus Christ and in a living relationship with our God through the community of Christian fellowship.

Interested in Joining in Membership

We are always overjoyed when someone is interested in joining in full membership of the family of the United Church of Christ of Robesonia.

If you are interested in membership, we invite you to contact one of our Pastors, any member of the Consistory, or the church office. Our Pastors can answer your questions and guide you through the process of joining. If you were baptized in another church, we recognize the baptisms of other Christian churches, and believe in one baptism. If you were never baptized into the Christian faith, our Pastors can help you understand what Christian baptism is about and why we celebrate in that sacrament.

We generally offer “Exploring Faith Classes” (i.e. New Member Classes) twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Those considering membership are encouraged to participate in those classes to learn more about the UCC of Robesonia and what we believe; however, participating in those classes is not required for membership. If you participate in the class, there is no pressure to join the church, we are happy to have you participate, explore faith, and ask questions. That class is open to visitors, new members, and long-term members alike.

For those in 7th grade through young twenties, rather than the Exploring Faith Classes, we offer a Confirmation Program for those interested in membership.
